In framework of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project “Community Center for Development” territorial cooperation NGO periodically organizes working meetings in Tavush Region communities with participation of community leaders and representatives of agricultural cooperatives, agricultural producers and processers.

«Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development» project is initiated by consortium lead by «CCD» NGO (former Support for Noyemberyan NGO) and its partner cooperatives is orientated at a more balanced social and economic development between communities of Tavush Region through creating new economic opportunities and jobs, leading to increased diversity and productivity of the economy in Tavush region; and increasing the economic competitiveness of farmer cooperatives and SMEs, including opportunities for investment and trade.

«Community Center for Development» NGO implemented «Strengthening women’s involvement in politics» project funded by European Endowment for Democracy organization in 2016. The EED support was directed to the civic society development in the region, to overcome the gender barrier in the elections existing in the region.

On March 15, 2017, “Tavush region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project team held its first informational meeting on further action planning with the participation of community leaders and representatives of municipality of Noyemberyan.

n August 2015 Tavush region Bagratashen village kindergarten was provided with new furniture- 45 chairs and 12 desks. The kindergarten now has the necessary furniture for children to complete their daily educational activates. The project was implemented with co-funding of “Support for Noyemberyan” NGO, US Peace Corps and Bagratashen community hall.

On December 12-13 “Support for Noyemberyan” NGO staff organized 2 days’ training in frames of CSO DePo program. The training was addressed to develop professional skills and capacities of Tavush region NGO representatives. Nine NGO heads from the region participated in the training and obtained the information on NGO management, financial management, fundraising and grant proposal writing.
