“Aygegortsner” Agricultural Production Cooperative was established in Berdavan village of Noyemberyan community within framework of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project and with financial support of RA Government and European Union. The cooperative is specialized in freezing fruits, berries and vegetables. It cooperates with about 150 farmers. Due to the efforts of “Aygegortsner” Agricultural Production Cooperative employees, we can enjoy fresh fruits, berries and vegetables of Tavush throughout the year.

Co-funded by EU and RA Government, “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project awarded a grant to establish “Tavush Eco Milk” Agricultural Production Cooperative in the administrative area of Jujevan village of Noyemberyan community. The aim of the grant is to ensure production of milk and dairy products, meanwhile creating an opportunity for the consumption of milk produced by more than 400 individual livestock farms in Tavush region. Currently it has 7 permanent employees. The cooperative mainly produces three types of cheese: Lori, Chanakh and cheese with natural spices.

“Shamshadin Eco Meat” Agricultural Production Cooperative was awarded a grant by RA Government and European Union to establish a meat processing production within framework of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project. It is located in Navur village of Berd community and aims to develop capacities of livestock farms in Tavush region organizing local meat processing and sales and enhancing zero waste consumption of meat produced by more than 1000 individual livestock farmers.

“Srvegh” Agricultural Production Cooperative was established in Aygehovit community of Tavush region. It was awarded a grant to establish a poultry farm in frames of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project co-funded by EU and RA Government. It produces high quality poultry meat and eggs. It also provides hatching eggs to other farms upon request. The cooperative realizes its products not only in the neighboring communities, but also in other communities throughout Tavush region.

In frames of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project financed by RA Government and European Union, “Hovani” Agricultural Production Cooperative was awarded a grant to start a greenhouse farming. The cooperative currently grows Albion strawberry and has great success in this field. It has created 4 new permanent jobs. The cooperative has expanded the greenhouse by building second and third layers. It also provides consultation to the relatively young greenhouse farmers in the region and delivers strawberry seedlings where necessary.
