In framework of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” project “Community Center for Development” territorial cooperation NGO periodically organizes working meetings in Tavush Region communities with participation of community leaders and representatives of agricultural cooperatives, agricultural producers and processers.
The aim of the meetings was presenting the goals and objectives, performed and planned actions and expected results of the project. Taking into account the establishment of Diary Company, Dried fruit SME, Tea production SME, Pilot chicken farm and Meat products production SME, it will promote large-scale consumption of raw materials produced by local farmers and will create new workplaces in target communities. This initiative arouses much interest among local population to be actively involved in project implementation process. Another important component of the project is the infrastructure development in pasture areas (road repairing leading from communities to pasture areas).
