«Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development» project is initiated by consortium lead by «CCD» NGO (former Support for Noyemberyan NGO) and its partner cooperatives is orientated at a more balanced social and economic development between communities of Tavush Region through creating new economic opportunities and jobs, leading to increased diversity and productivity of the economy in Tavush region; and increasing the economic competitiveness of farmer cooperatives and SMEs, including opportunities for investment and trade.
The project is mainly funded by European Union and Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of RA.
As a result of the Action, the agricultural production will be diversified, better positioned in the market. The production standards will be enhanced, technologies will be renewed and the grounds for sustainable development will be laid. Many new businesses will be established and registered. The Action also aims to promote the inclusive employment and will substantially contribute to the poverty reduction in Tavush region.
