The development of social enterprising today is a real opportunity especially for NGO field representatives to implement long lasting and sustainable activity. In 2015 “Community Center for Development” territorial cooperation NGO assisted partner “Noy Astgh” NGO to establish a rehabilitation center, which is unique in the area in its kind. The center was opened in Koghb community on April 24 and was provided with necessary furniture and equipment.
75-100 disabled people get free physical therapy services here.
The center also provides paid services to community members. The profit from these services “Noy Astgh” NGO uses to implement other social projects for the target group of the organization. Rehabilitation center opening was supported by “Community Center for Development” territorial cooperation NGO, US Peace Corps volunteer Alissa Morson, Friends of Armenia organization, businessmen Samson Abovyan, Avet Ghazaryan and Pavlik Ghulijanyan.
