“Community Center for Development” territorial cooperation NGO in the scope of the project “Support for Diabetics” with the support of the Armenian representatives of ROCHE organization provided glucometers and strips to 130 diabetics from Tavush region.
During project work with target groups the great support and professional advices was provided by “Arevhat and Ani” Noyemberyan medical center’s director Arevhat Yaralyan and Dilijan “IR – ZING” LLC medical center’s doctor endocrinologist Nune Sahakyan. Doctor’s professional advices is performed voluntarily. The project team and the stakeholders are grateful to the ROCHE Armenian branch staff and the doctors who have provided their humanitarian volunteer participation and are continuously caring for the diabetics of Tavush region.
Daily checking of glucose content in blood permits diabetics to control sugar content in the blood at home, follow the diet and avoid other health problems of direct consequence of diabetes.
