On November 28, the CCD NGO team hosted Jeffrey Warner, Deputy Chief of Political/Economic Section at the US Embassy in Armenia, Linnea Duvall, Political Officer at the US Embassy in Armenia, and Lilit Ohanyan, Political Specialist at the US Embassy in Armenia. During the meeting, the CCD NGO team presented the progress, upcoming actions, and expected results of the “Smart Noyemberyan” project.
This initiative, funded by USAID and implemented by CCD NGO, aims to bring positive changes to the Noyemberyan community. The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the Noyemberyan community geographical and climatic peculiarities, the sectors with development potential and competitive in terms of attracting investments: intensive agriculture, organic honey production, leather production, tourism, textiles. The participants of the meeting also got acquainted with the competitive advantages aimed at economic development of the Noyemberyan community: geographical location, climatic conditions, human and technical resources, sectors with development potential and competitive in terms of attracting investments: intensive agriculture, organic honey production, tannery, tourism, textiles.
