The aim of the project “Improvement of Social Conditions of Arstakh War Affected People in Tavush Region through Capacity Building” was to support individuals living in Noyemberyan, Berd and Ijevan communities of Tavush region, or their family members, who were affected by Artsakh events and face the problem of unemployment.
The Project participants had the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in one of the most popular modern professions - web programming, which they will effectively use to enter the huge labor market of this field full of opportunities. The Project also included consultations on financial management and accounting and psychological support component.
At the end of the Project, 40 participants received certificates for successful completion of the web programming course and were provided with computers.
The project was funded by “UMCOR Armenia” Charitable Foundation and implemented by “Community Center for Development” Territorial Cooperation NGO. Project partners were Gyumri Information Technologies Center and Fund for Armenian Relief Armenian Branch.
