“Gardenia Lebanese Farms” LLC has been represented in Armenia since 2014. It was founded by Mr. Nicolas Abou Fayssal, a Lebanese businessman and the owner of the Lebanese company “Gardenia Grain D’or”. The latter has a specific positive and warm attitude towards Armenian nation and Armenia. Among the staff of the company he runs there are many representatives of Armenian community. Besides, he supports the Armenian community in protection of national interests.
Since its first day of existence in Armenia, the company has implemented investment projects in the regions of the Republic of Armenia. One of its recent projects is carried out in the framework of “Tavush Region Integrated and Balanced Economic Development” Project. The aim of the project is the foundation of intensive gardens with the territory of 200ha in Ayrum Community, Bagratashen, Tavush Region.
“Gardenia Grain D’or” is specialized mainly in agriculture and exports its products to more than 40 countries all over the world. With the purpose of providing more detailed information about the company’s activity, “Gardenia Grain D’or” organized and sponsored the visit of “Community Center for Development” Territorial Cooperation NGO representative to the village of Zahle, Lebanon, where the company has its head office and one of the main factories. In the frames of the visit a number of meetings were organized with Lebanese businessmen. During the meetings the participants discussed issues concerning Tavush Region competitive privileges and investment potential. Mr. Fayssal is one of those businessmen who shares his productive experience with other businessmen offering his support in implementation of investment projects in different regions of Armenia, Tavush Region in particular.
